This set is inspired by the European architecture and beaches of Miami and displayed during Art Week Miami 2023. The marble is 26mm in diameter and made with Trip A’s Birthday Cake colorway in a pattern emulating a COOGI sweater. Made from borosilicate glass using flameworking techniques, every color except for white was hand made. Each layer of the pattern is hand drawn, line by line, one layer at a time. Up to 12 layers of glass is needed to achieve the effect. The seashell stand was hand sculpted using tools to manipulate the glass after it has been heated with the torch.
