My Amaze Balm + Sunscreen is the same formula as the Amaze Balm with an estimated SPF 20 achieved by creating a mixture of 33% therapeutic grade, non-nano zinc oxide powder. (***THE SPF HAS NOT BEEN TESTED BY AN OUTSIDE SOURCE- IT IS AN ESTIMATED SPF 20, POSSIBLY CLOSER TO 30.***) These are handmade in small batches. One of the main ingredients, plantain herb, was grown organically in Ashley's garden. The Earth isn't going to save itself so I've created these plant-based balms to replace a number of petroleum based products in your medicine cabinet, leaving you with one balm that does it all. The mess-free applicator leaves your hands clean and is 100% compostable, including the label.

I first designed my Amaze Balm and Amaze Balm + Sunscreen for my own use in the glass studio but then quickly realized their healing potential in so many other applications. They contain plantain herb, lavender and tea tree which are all very powerful healing herbs. Lavender immediately cools burns and helps them heal faster while diminishing scarring and redness. Plantain is an antiseptic so it kills bacteria and it also has cooling effects on burns. Tea tree is an antiseptic, antimicrobial, antifungal, and antibacterial, I really care to eliminate all petroleum in my products, which includes the packaging. Plastic tubes and even the plastic lids on jars are manufactured using petroleum and they are not compostable. My packaging is made with sustainable materials and is 100% compostable, including the label and it's adhesive.
